After the much publicised ban on taking larger electronics in cabin baggage on flights from various countries to the UK, I thought that I'd let people know that it's worth double checking the situation. We are flying back from Amman, Jordan with Royal Jordanian Airlines, and while the Gov.uk site still refers to the ban being in place, it has in fact been lifted on that route for that airline. The airline's own website shows this, and the DfT have confirmed that we should follow the airline's position, rather than the general advice on their site. We were obviously quite happy to discover that we can now take our devices in the cabin.
